Multiphase CFD Problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all!

I am having difficulty running simulations for my multi-material model.

(Please see attached photos)

Blue region is water.

White region is air.

Green mesh region is permeable PDMS.

Blue arrows are small negative pressure.

Red arrows are larger negative pressure.

So, there is an overall pressure gradient towards the bottom.

Air will permeate into the PDMS part, and water will enter into the hole, replace air, and fill in the hole over time.

I would like to see the water's flow-in velocity and predict filling time.

Is this something do-able with COMSOL multiphysics?

I am stuck.. Can someone help me solve this problem??

Thank you!!
