Arc lengths

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am fairly new to COMSOL and I am trying to create a design in COMSOL model builder.

I am in the 2D model builder and I am trying to create an arc length of 40mm, but alter the radius of it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

create 3 global parameters:

Angle equal to 360 x ArcLength/(2 x pi x r)

ArcLength equal to 40[mm]

r equal to 30[mm] (for starters)

Create an circular arc in the Geometry node by specifying centre, radius and angles

have centre at 0,0

radius set to r

start and end angles set to -Angle/2 to Angle/2

job done!
