regarding confinement loss in photonic crystal fiber

i tried all thickness of pml (7% to 14 % of cladding diameter), but every time i am getting positive and negative value of confinement loss. it should be come in only positive term. please help me out. Steps made a circle with pml thickness and assign it PML conditions like cylindrical coordinates and scaling factor of 1. but no result.
