Laminar Flow & Transport of Diluted Species Feature

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi you guys. I have questions about the Transport of Diluted Species module. My work is about simulation of oxygen concentration distribution in a micro fluidic device (micro well). In the well, there is a cell spheroid which consumes the diffused and convected oxygen. To simulate the oxygen, I specify the cell as wall (non-slip condition is applied at a boundary) and use Flux (negative) represent oxygen that is consumed by the cell. so the question are..... Can the negative Flux be used instead of Reactions? If the flux cannot be used, I have to use Reactions (how can I specify a material of the cell because It cannot be applied at the boundary). Thank you.
