Hi Anna,

that could have many different causes. See here for a few ideas: https://www.comsol.de/support/knowledgebase/1260 if your model is time-dependent or strongly nonlinear, other causes could be more likely as well. What interfaces and study type are you using?

For more detailed hints I suggest that you upload your model file here or send it to support@comsol.com.
