COMOSL way of Solving the model by FEM

Hi,

I just want to know how COMSOL is solving for the model?
I mean how it is implementing the FEM in software? Is there any documentation published by COMSOL in this aspect, if so Please do let me know?

If any one knows about the implementation of FEM in COMSOL (in steps with a little explaination) please do let me know?
