em change due to mechanical deformation

An em wave deforms a solid, say a copper plate. Deformed copper plate in turn changes em characteristics.
Any idea how to approach this?

Hi

couple the two, with a Multiphysics programme like COMSOL :)
Add two physics solid and ACDC and connect the BC correctly.

The term correctly means that you take some time to sketch out the interactions and get your BC linked corectly. There are a few models (not exactly your case but close) in the model library
