sedimentation tank with mixture model, laminar flow

The reason I write to you is because I am in a research project on optimization in the design of sedimentation tanks, then I'm applying computational fluid dynamics as a fundamental tool.
as the essence of sediemntadores is working with a continuous phase and a dispersed phase at the moment I'm running the model with "Mixture Model, Laminar flow" but I get an error saying that the matrix has values of zero on the diagonal .

I am at the beginner level of COMSOL(elementary school - kindergarten ;) ). I am wondering if you find your solution after years, as I am trying to develop similar model.
My problem is particle tracing. I am not sure, should I go through two modules of mixture model, laminar flow and particle tracing, or only with mixture model? As my concern is the movement of particles in water.
