Our department has started to install Windows 7 as standard on new PCs - does anyone know if comsol 3.5 will run on windows 7 or not?

Thanks, James

Hi

Cannot tell, V4 will certainly be W7 tested, if not compatible, here at work we have continuously the fight: our management and software specialists always want to give us the most up to date OS, but for us engineers we want our tools to be most up to date, often there are an OS generation difference of not more.

Normally the managers understand ROI, but they seem to forget that for IT

Hi,

I tried comsol 3.4 on Windows 7. But It displays a fatal Error occurred while i tried to give whatever pass-code or licence.dat file. Is there any pre-requisite software needed to be installed on Windows 7 ?

(My PC has Core 2 Duo processor with 2GB ram and 128MB Graphics card)

I have 3.5a and 4.0 running on Win7 64bit, on both desktop and laptop.

They both run just fine.
