Dear all,
I am running a linear anisotropic model in 3D using solid mechanics module (Please find the geometry and boundary conditions in the attached photo). I would like to rotate the compliance matrix components at a certain angle. Here, I have several questions to raise:
1- Should I use Euler angles to do that? In other words, do Euler angles rotate anisotropic properties? 2- Do the tractions change if I apply Euler angles to my model? 3- Is it possible to implement non-linear elastic behaviour in linear elastic material settings in COMSOL? 4- How can I apply shear stress on a boundary in COMSOL settings?
Thanks very much for your help in advance.
Regards, Nima
