plane wave and scattering boundary

Hello

I'm beginner with comsol... so maybe my question is easy...


I want generate a wave plane, my structure is a 3D cube, in the top I have a scattering boundary condition and the underside is conected with a PML structure, the others sides have PEC condition.

I choose the plane wave in scattering boundary condition, also I have choosed the polarization Exo--> 0 Eyo--> 1 and Ezo-->0
furthermore, I choose Kdirz as -1 , kdirx and Kdiry as 0...
where do I must write Ez=exp(i*ewr.k0*z)???

And HOW DO I SEE THE COMSOL INTERNAL VARIABLES??

for example ewr.k0

You need to use "port boundary conditions" to identify wave equations.
Try doing "plasmonic wire grating" tutorial. It explains how to do it. I don't know how to find the internal variables. I was told by a friend that there was a list of variables in prev. versions (before 3.5) but I can't find it.
