Copying physics to another geometry

Ciao tutti

I am sure this has been discussed before, but is it possible to copy a model/physics to another geometry? Say, I have managed to do a 1D model and would like to expand it to 2D.

Lasse

Hi Lasse, this will be possible in V5.3a. You can copy/paste physics between components with different space dimensions and even different sessions of COMSOL. You can also copy an entire component in one session of COMSOL and paste it into a different session: https://www.comsol.com/events/webinar/More-Modeling-Power-to-You-Introducing-COMSOL-53a-Webinar-39172

Hello Lasse,

This will be an easy copy and paste operation in version 5.3a (https://www.comsol.com/events/webinar/More-Modeling-Power-to-You-Introducing-COMSOL-53a-Webinar-39172 ), which will be released shortly. I can't think of a simple way of doing it in earlier versions.

Best,

Jeff
