Different results at same convergence plot and input parameters

Dear all,

At the moment I am modeling the magnetocaloric effect in an annulus, using the laminar flow, heat transfer, and magnetic fields, no currents physics. I had the feeling that my results changed with the end time, so ran the same file in two copies simultaneously. Although the convergence plot is exactly the same, the relative error is different and it leads to different results. (This is not always the case, sometimes the convergence plot differs, although same input is used).

My question is, how is this possible? Isn't the program supposed to give the same simulation results when same geometry, input variables and parameters, mesh and time step size and end time is used?

My suggestion is that this might be caused by the semi turbulent flow inside my annulus, caused by the strong applied magnetic field. And that modeling it in laminar flow physics might lead to some randomness..

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Evthimios
