Brinkman equation for porous media

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

in Brinkman eqn. with porous media, Comsol has "nabla.(1/porosity)*viscosity*nabla(u)" at the right hand side second term while the literature has no 1/epsilon coefficient and while some others have 1/(porosity*density). In a similar manner, at the left hand side, Comsol has no 1/porosity^2 while most of the literature has that. Is there any reason for that?
