So actually, if now you try to do simulating about particle tracking, do you agree with results?
Because I am always wondering that can I trust the results of particle tracking module.
Especially, in case of micro device system.
For example, if you have interesting about inertial focusing phenomenon, you searched about it on the discussion forum.
And you can find many things on the board. And then you can know that many people want to know how to simulate about inertial focusing.
But nobody knows about it. this is why??
I think Comsol supply only Drag force when fluid flow only exist. (Not electro, magnetic,...)
I agree that Comsol is very good tool to simulate physics.
But although many people want to know about it, Comsol company does not teach to people.
Comsol company only said you can use a Drag force! it's like a solution!
But it's not solution! For example if the particle pass thorugh a rectangular channel, it is self assembled by shear gradient force and wall lift force.
But if you apply only Drag force, you can not see it. only the particle go straight.
many people want to simulate inertial focusing, Comsol does not say anything.
And I think they do not have any plan what it is applied.
why???
actually, I don't want to blame to Comsol.
Just I am confused how can I believe comsol program, because comsol can not simulate about very obvious physical phenomenon(ex, inertial focusing).
I want to hear anything from you guys or specialist of particle tracking module.
Thanks!
