Hello,
we have got a 3D - CAD model of a bone (one domain) and want to differentiate between two domains, representing the outer "hard" bone tissue and the inner "soft" bone tissue. In the preliminary model we just want to define the second domain as a layer with 2 mm in thickness basing on the curved surface of the bone model.
Is there any "thicken surface"-possibility implemented in COMSOL? The extrude-funciton only works for planar surfaces and an anisotropic rescaling of the model does not lead to sufficient results.
Thanks in advance, Ulf
