Hi,
I am doing a fatigue analysis (using matlab and 3.5a) currently using an lcf method. I am getting strange results, like one part the component failing before 1 cycle and other parts failing after 170,000,000 cycles!! The model is basically a very small cylinder bent in the shape of a half circle. I am wondering if these results are to do with the fact that the application is really an example of hcf and not lcf?
Can anyone tell me any commands that has a 'number of cycles output' for an hcf method?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
