Stefan Problem

I'm trying to solve a problem similar to the stefan problem in this paper:

and am trying to recreate this model, but am struggling, having not used Moving Meshes beforehand. The main problem I'm having is starting off a model with two phases, each with a separate advection--diffusion equation (with different diffusivities), but with one phase being of zero thickness initially. Could anyone help me with this?
Also, is the actual comsol model for this paper on the 2006 conference cd, and is it possible to get a copy of it?
