Temperature Coupling in Joule Heating Module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone,

I'm currently having an issue with the temperature coupling between the Electric Current and the Heat Transfer in solids physycs.
In particular, on a cable model, I need the resistance to vary with the conductor temperature. To do so, I specify that the input of the Conservation Current node should come from the temperature coupling, and the electrical conductivity from the linearized resistivity. So far so good.
However, the conductors' domains I select in Temperature Coupling do not remain highlighted once I change node and then go back on Temperature Coupling. This, I believe, is the root cause why I keep getting the error 'Failed to find consistent initial values' at the beginning of the simulation.

I'm pretty sure it's a fairly stupid mistake I'm making, I just don't get it! I attach the model below.

ANY kind of help/suggestion help would be highly appreciated!!

Tommaso
