Comsol and Matlab - fatigue related

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am interested in fatigue analysis, hence the matlab part, and when I use the extractSNCurveFromMatlib function, for both my own model and the frame with cutout model (as it says to do so in the tutorial) provided I get errors. Does this mean that my material library is missing the SN curves for the relevant materials. Can these be entered manually? Also the material I really want to look at is copper, should there be an SN function for this or am I wasting my time pursuing this route?

Also can anyone tell me what are Findley parameters and where I can find them (not really comsol related I know but worth a shot!)

Thanks in advance,

Chris
