Making geometry from MR image in 2D and 3D using Comsol 5.0 and Matlab.

It will be very kind if i get information to make 2D and 3D model from MR images using comsol5.0 and matlab. As far as i know there is mphimage2geom function is there. But any body tried this function before gave some suggestion could be very helpful. I have to make it in 2D and as well as in 3D also.
I have already did this in 3.5a using flim2curve and loft function. Is there any alternative to loft function in Comsol 5.0 and matlab. Is it there ,then where can i get documentation related to that.
