Sales Administrator – Fixed Term Maternity Cover (10 months)

COMSOL Ltd. is looking for an energetic and pro-active Sales Administrator for our Software Licensing Department, to provide maternity cover for a fixed term. This role is based at our Cambridge office and as part of our team, you will work closely with our technical, sales and marketing departments and assist with the everyday operations of the business.

A large proportion of the role will be to support the licensing team to ensure that annual subscription targets are achieved.

Responsibilities will include:

Licensing

• Generate and provide subscription quotations to customers on a monthly basis in timely and accurate manner

• Follow up with each customer via phone and email to confirm the status of their renewal to ensure the subscription quota is achieved

• Work with customer sales representatives and the technical team to help secure subscription renewals

• Manage the administration of creating and updating licences including change requests

• Provide licensing support to customers with installation issues

Customer Care

• Co-ordinate the customer care programme in liaison with the customer sales representatives and technical support engineers

• Through phone calls, maintain regular contact with nominated customers and identify opportunities for training and additional product sales

Office Administration

• Enter orders on the CRM system, raising and dispatching invoices

• Support colleagues to arrange events and office activities

• General day-to-day office support as required

Person Specification

• Advanced experience using MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

• Strong attention to detail

• Confident communicator, ideally with telephone sales and customer relationship building experience

• Keen interest in sales and working in a sales environment

• Positive and professional with concise writing skills

• Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple demands from customers as well as team members

• Ability to work by own initiative but also as part of a team
